Rix

Big swings in prices between suppliers at the moment.
Couldn’t get farmdeals to add up even with the £50 off, but only Watsons quoting to my postcode
I think Rix own Watsons or may have got that wrong but they wont quote for us normally as we price Rix and usually get it off them

Why will suppliers not join
i assume there must be a cost to them somewhere is this why they wont join
It would be wrong of me to state why an individual fuel company does not wish to join however I can assure you it is not down to cost as the margins are really very small in terms of the commission paid to Farmdeals. "Some" reasons do include however, they wish to remain traditional in their approach, they may not be ready to go down this route, secondly they may want to see how we progress, thirdly they may see this as "a race to the bottom". Genuine reasons enough but this is about convenience to the farmer as it is about a fair price plus we are just another buying group albeit in a digital format. As our member numbers grow, which is why it is important for farmers to get behind this, I am confident our suppliers will increase and hence coverage and choice will improve. Kindest regards David @Farmdeals PS Help build Farmdeals which is free to users by encouraging more farmer friends to join. https://www.farmdeals.ag
