I'm not buying fertiliser either. Even if there was product to buy. Not unless my milk price rises substantially to cover the extra cost.
Just had notice that my cow concentrate feed cost is rising by £25/ton from Oct 1st. That is one rise I will have to swallow in the short term.

(110.98 + VAT) that’s a 2.06 p p l increase week on week.
There’s absolutely no shortage of fuel at the refineries we are told by ministers , so a rise of this magnitude can ONLY be profiteering.
High street filling stations should have a standing minimum £25 charge to enter their forecourts and if the vehicle won’t take that much fuel then the car driver should forfeit the surplus cash.

Right, I have just driven down to regent street and the Albert hall to recover some items to a warehouse in Leigh - I used my reserve can to enable me to make the delivery but now I am unable to get back to base .
There is red diesel available at a BP station - I’m tempted to use some of that and keep the receipt and send the (duty equivalent to HMRC) .
It’s an 18 month old van with 95k miles on it so it’s too valuable to have removed and crushed .
Any better ideas ?
