Right, I have just driven down to regent street and the Albert hall to recover some items to a warehouse in Leigh - I used my reserve can to enable me to make the delivery but now I am unable to get back to base .
There is red diesel available at a BP station - I’m tempted to use some of that and keep the receipt and send the (duty equivalent to HMRC) .
It’s an 18 month old van with 95k miles on it so it’s too valuable to have removed and crushed .
Any better ideas ?
Don't think they will crush the vehicle on a first offence.
Did hear on FB earlier they were dipping tanks at a mart somewhere today.

I took the view that I am not interested/prepared to see this get worse over the next few months - so I bought enough to keep me going until the New Year. Right or wrong - I'm done!!!!
we thought the same! we have it to get the work done pay next month , start again in jan and just keep going!

Veg oil? Aren’t you allowed 2000lts or something?

If you have produced less than 2,500 litres in the last 12 months, or if you expect to produce less than this amount in the next 12 months, you may be an exempt producer. If you’re an exempt producer you only need to keep production records (see item 3 in the above table). Read paragraph 4.2.1 for more information.
