Anyone store road derv on farm now?
Been using a fuel card latly until they started to shaft me so priced up.
Can get derv 4ppl cheaper than local pumps and 8ppl cheaper than fuel card

Next week 88.59 at the pumps - you need to insist on a Platts Plus rate which follows the Rotterdam price with an agreed margin.

And it doesn't end up "spilt" into someone else's vehicle.....

Yes, it was 89.65 +vat last week, its purely for convenience as nearest station is 10 miles away and would mean purpose trip to fuel farm truck. Also the VAT is claimed on 50% (the other 50% deemed private through the car) which saves an accounting nightmare checking paper for what went in where and scale charges.

Last price i had for the card was 98.08and thats having a "conversation" telling them how dear they were and they were going to sort out the rate

Who do you buy with most of the time? I pretty much never deviate from Haven. Every time I have a quote elsewhere they're pretty close. CCF seemed dear, and oil for wales not that cheap

Direct for a house, 2 year contract, fixed for 1 year, 2nd year +3.5p.p.l, +vat on both at 5% as for heating

Sounds like a v.good price esp. for domestic. Watch the fine print in the contract with Calor.

There's a real lack of transparency especially with the LPG market prices. I know there is the "official" Argus North Sea Index and Platts, but the whole thing reminds me of LIBOR...and we know how that was rigged in the end.
