After being royally shafted by them they won't be getting any more orders from me:mad:
Ordered diesel last Tuesday to be told delivery by a week Thursday @59ppl,fudge me I thought as on this thread being quoted 56ish so rang local machine ring and they said 59 as well:cry:
Ok, I'm not completely out and as long as its here Thursday so I can get the slurry pump in friday.they turn up 2pm today and don't deliver:mad:citing a mark in the top of the tank makes it unsafe:mad:That mark has been there for at least 3 years and is not a leak

Rang another local supplier at 1530 not holding much hope this late in day and they quoted 57 but can't get here as booked up tomorrow

They'll get the order next time

So much for being loyal:(

I try and avoid Certas where possible and support the independent guys. Surprising how prices change - no supplier is ever consistently cheaper.

To be fair, Certas have only once been beaten here since 2012. Machinery Ring have never been within a couple of pence of them either, so much so that I've given up asking the ring to quote.

Worth adding to this thread although I will start dedicated thread about it HERE

We have negotiated a 8% off deal for all TFF members with Stable price insurance - to get it you will need to register via this link as well as being able to insure minimum prices for stuff we sell like combinable crops, will, meat etc it can also be used to insure against rises in fertiliser and fuel price so might be a useful tool in the future for those of us wanting a little more certainty in our financial planning ?

Click here for TFF 8% offer

Even if your not planning in using this service just now it's worth registering as the offer maybe time limited but the discount will remain for those registered
