I am topping up my heating oil tank so only want 500L. Phoned Watson's, could not get an answer, they phoned back about 2 days later. Phoned Heltor, got answer right away, they quoted me 42.something so I took it, delivery this week. It is still cheaper than my last 1000L order and should see me through until June when the weather should have warmed up so will be able to live without it for a few summer months if supplies are not available. Run a Rayburn ( all the time, heats the hot water tank) and a central heating boiler ( when needed).

just tried watsons 2000 ltrs 49.45 pl 500ltrs kero 44.95 pl they said it's short ?
"Short" Lol! You should ask him how 'Jet A1' sales are going this month, as it's just a slightly higher grade of Kero, and some refineries are running out of capacity to store it. In other words he's talking absolute BS. I hear theres a *very* long line of Jet A1 tankers parked up at Grangemouth, due to the complete lack of demand from Edinburgh and Newcastle airports.

In fact I wouldn't be surprised to see the 'Kero' (Jet A1) price collapse after this weeks 'panic buying' spike, as the refineries will need to dump it in order to carry on producing petrol and diesel (in much reduced volumes).

So what happens when the demand for one part of the “crack” disappears?
