Full-Time Tractor Operative - St. Helens, Merseyside

We are currently recruiting for a Tractor Operative to fulfil our vacancy in St. Helens. This role has become available due to recent contract wins.

We are a leading grounds maintenance company covering the northwest of England and occasionally further afield. Clients include but not limited to, prestigious sports, local authority, MOD and education facilities.

The person we are looking for will be experienced in all tractor operations, dedicated and have pride in their work. Mechanical ability and a can-do attitude are important along with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. They will also be willing to work long hours when required, the odd night away, occasional weekends and late nights in winter for gritting and snowploughing.

THE ROLE
Duties to include but not limited to
  • Spraying

  • Vertidraining

  • Overseeding

  • Sand spreading

  • Sidearm flailing

  • Tractor loader operations

  • Grass Mowing

  • Trailer work

  • Servicing and maintenance of machinery used

  • Winter salt spreading and snowploughing with tractors

SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
  • You must hold a full driving licence, preferably with B+E to enable towing trailers
