Fungicide spraying with frosts at night & cold conditions

As per 2022 spraying season is being a bugger.
With yellow rust in WW skyfall, windy conditions and frosts at night into next week (w/c 4/4/22) with showers a real problem next week, should I be putting a fungicide on if wind allows a window, or let mother nature with the frosts do the job?
I am keen to get the fungicide on, but would welcome other growers thoughts.

I have a recommendation to get on with it, but this was before the weather turned cold.

I've also got some glyphosate to be getting on with before the drill.... as per, weather is being a nuisance

variety and weather condition are a big factor

i am not seeing any here on firefly but we are usually the last place to see any over the last 40 years

Same here. I am leaving it in the can.

It's the Skyfall's first fungicide and I am concerned with the unsettled weather next week, to be honest the rust is rife at the moment.
I know the frosty and cold conditions is just what the dr ordered for the crop, but not sure if it would be better to be applied over the weekend as wind is dropping temporally.

Also got to weigh up some glyphosate before the drill

I am right on the north sea coast and with the NE wind's we always suffer with rust on the WW.... just not normally this early.... but what year is consistent?

with respect if i had a yellow rust suceptable farm with likely difficult spray conditions
i would grow the highest resistant varieties available

learnt after slejpner and robigus

I'd get the roundup on first, if it's holding up the drilling. Rinse out, then sit and wait for the next chance.

The wind looks unlikely to drop next week, but the ground (here) is dry and the showers won't add up to much.

Yes, we tried Extase last year, full program of herbicides, and it ended up worse than the Skyfall, which didn't have a full program. (A lot of the Extase ears went black and died before harvest )

We like to grow Skyfall as its perfect for our late WW & early Spring Wheat.

We grew Extase last year to try and get away from the YR susceptible Skyfall, but it was prone to other diseases which we didn't and have not seen in the Skyfall.

Our later drilled Skyfall is clear of YR, it is just the October drilled stuff right by the coast which has now got it , could have done with this cold snap back in the winter !!

As it is purely fungicide & no growth reg, its going on over the weekend inc. the glyphosate after fungicide

Yes, talking to the agronomist this afternoon I am going to get fungicide on and then glyphosate and fingers crossed it works out well.
No growth reg in the T0

I will push back T0’s as long as sensibly possible this then shortens the gap to T1 and T2. So long as the wheats are clean, nothing here for at least ten days

Wet week next week, thinking do I go N2 when I can't get on with anything else (liquid fert)? Nothing is looking at all hungry but if I sit the next 10ish days out will have to finish T0 and that wil go with BWS so that's 17 days before the next N might just split N2
