a field of wheat which was new seed single purpose dresses, has patches of fusarium( we think). Will it be ok for farm saved seed, which we normally don’t dress or use any seed treatments on??
The fusarium in ear disease is a different microdochium species (graminorum) from that that affects the seed (nivale). Get it tested once you've got it in the shed.
The fusarium in ears needs a well timed ear wash to control it.
As close to full ear emergence as possible but before it flowers I believe.
Once flowered it's less effective.
