Fusarium score of maize variety

Maize variety doesn't affect the mycotoxin risk score for your following wheat. Yet. Worth considering if you're wanting to grow a milling variety but there isn't much market there since Premier Foods (Rank Hovis) at Southampton shut, only small mills at Andover & Avonmouth.

Why do you say "yet"?
Will only be feed wheat.
Will fusarium spores(?) be more likely left in the maize stubble with a lower score variety?
Or do I not have to worry about fusarium scores in maize at all

My experience of growing different maize varieties isn't great, so I'm not fit to comment further. If thinking about the wheat, I wouldn't worry but would assume that you have a significant risk of fusarium in the following wheat, especially if you min till, grow a susceptible wheat variety etc.

A far greater risk for wheat following grain maize , with all the trash left on the surface
That was what I was thinking, especially with it not ploughed in.
I went with the higher scored variety. £4/acre extra. Would I see that back though? I imagine I would treat the following wheat crop the same regardless
