Future Chocolate spot control

So this year wasn't bad and didn't really show up loss of CTL. Going forward are there any EAMUs for existing products on the horizon or maybe possibly new products?
AFAIK I know current approved triazoles and strobs have limited effects on Choc spot. My hunch (and a quick google) is that Mancozeb and Flopit might have some activity and I wondered if anyone on here knew that and if there was, is there any likelihood of us being legally allowed to use them?

Obviously now CTL gone, so has the cheap sterilant effect it had-and thats all it had. Used to grow winters on heavy land before AD grass was put in. Boscalid as Signum is expensive but a fab molecule on beans.

No idea. (Not that I could put on here anyway).
I sometimes think I was born with CTL in my veins and don't know how I, or UK ag, is going to survive without it.

Oh, and if Signum is the only answer the crop won't be economically viable.

Potassium bicarbonate has shown good activity. I was reading about carbonate / bicarbonate activity on plant pathogens as I have no life.

Copper oxychloride?
Both of which could be applied as nutrients.
My bigger worry is BLW control. a combine plastered out inside and jammed augers so I’m not keen anyway.

No. Sulphur for beet, hence separate thread. Can keep beans reasonably clean weed wise thanks. I think mancozeb is possibly the answer I’m looking for but I don’t think it’s legal. Unlike above never used strob or sdhi on beans.

You are correct - from a report earlier this year:-

In conclusion from the assessments made on the basis of the available information (RAR, comments thereon, EFSA conclusion, applicant comments on the EFSA conclusion and draft renewal report), no plant protection products containing the active substance mancozeb is expected to satisfy in general the requirements laid down in Article 29(1) of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 and the uniform principles laid down in Regulation (EU) No 546/2011.

The approval of mancozeb in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 should therefore not be renewed.

Not yet set in stone but the writing is on the wall. The PGRO Disease Management email from 21st July says:-

The following active substances will give good control of chocolate spot and rust:

Active substance	Product
Azoxystrobin	various
Azoxystrobin + tebuconazole	Custodia; Seraphin
Boscalid + pyraclostrobin	Signum; Insignis; Pyrabos
Metconazole	various
Tebuconazole	various

But in a bad year I am not so confident these would cut the mustard on Choc Spot..

I like to DD winter beans but it has to be October it gets too wet

I’m not sure they do..,, it’s just best option. And not under a high disease pressure year.
