Oh and recycle some sand
Think you could lose far more than you'd gain.
How much are you paying for sand?

Yes liquid for home separated for away ground. Something contractors are happy to pump and something that can be put in a round store with a roof hopefully half paid for by the govt and a farm that passes easily when the ea authorise my dairy permit in 2025.
They have not offered these grants yetMy view is they could well turn round in 2025 and say we offered you grants to improve what you've got it's not our fault you didn't take it. Even if the grant may be 50% but could still easily cost you 50-100k of your own cash for everyone 100 cows.
We got through a brand new casing in an hour and a half 3years ago. They offered. Can you not put a pipe under the road to get to away ground?
The metal in the pumps is far better now. 15 years ago contractor would blow through an old casing in 3 days. Not an issue now.
No but they have told us we will know more 3rd quarter this year and available second half 2022 just no details. They have not offered these grants yet
The neighbours would report him for cruelty and he’d get inspected by trading standards. Not because the cattle are suffering but his neighbours are arseholes! As you're spring calving, and in Cornwall, why not consider out wintering a portion of the herd? There's no regs on muck for them.

Away ground is 4 miles and 2 villages. Pipe just won't do it.

How Do you know that?! They’re actually really good neighbours. We took the children to the beach today and the cows got out and they put them back for me. My old neighbours would have threatened to beat me up!Says he who's now has a bloody great nag yard next door.
Same as what @Friesianfan said basically, I've not met the neigbours yet so am trying to keep on their good side!!As you're spring calving, and in Cornwall, why not consider out wintering a portion of the herd? There's no regs on muck for them.
Come and visit sometimeGooglemaps. I waste a lot of time looking at satelite photos while wife watches crappy TV. Most of my childhood holidays and a few recent ones were west cornwall and I know your area a bit, so the new place wasn't too hard to find
