Hi
Have a sheet of Galebreaker up above door into calf house
Looking for an easy way to raise and lower.
Anyone made anything similar
Not keen on paying for a fancy roller screen thingy

How wide is it?

Attach some narrow battens across its width and a fixed one at the top of the door.
Attach rings spaced out evenly to each batten and the top.
Then thread cord fixed to each bottom ring, going right up and through the fixed top rail rings and loose down one side.
Do this with each set of rings, so you end up with all the spare cord to one side, tie a few knots in that to keep it together, and pull it up, you have made a kind of Roman blind.

I think you will need something to keep it fixed when it is in its down position, because the wind will create a racket banging it on the door.

Kind of like this.

You could possibly get away with just fixing rings without the mid battens, youwould need one at the top to act as a guide, but it wont pull up as easy.
