Galfre disc mower

Evening all, I've just bought a Galfre 245 mower which is missing one of the skids, anyone any idea where I could get one? I know Fleming sell them, but they're about £200 when you factor the vat in, which seems a bit on the pricey side. The mower is only going to do about 20 acres a year, so a decent used skid would be ideal.

Even if it’s a generic bed the skids and discs are usually unique

Was going to say just the same, pop one of the others off and copy it. Even if you had to use the front of an ols Kuhn one or similar. Plenty worn skids in scrap piles

I'll look in to that, I'm not sure getting one made from scratch would be any cheaper, but maybe modifying one off another mower might be feasible

Getting one made won’t be cheaper but you knocking something up to save a few quid might be

Sundays are scrapheap challenge here

Post a picture of a good one. Someone might recognise it as similar to something else
