I'm leaving Dorset at 5am to get in early doors at around 8.30am. I heard stories of long tailbacks this morning & I can see Saturday being popular.

I'd say either go early or aim for late morning/lunch time.

I went today and it was an absolute breeze to drive in and out. We were in the show before 8.00am and left at 5.30pm. Did not queue or stop the car driving in or out. We came from Evesham direction and parked at entrance C. Only problem was the heat ..... my God it was hot. Take plenty of money there's plenty to buy a nice pair of Purdeys for £245k and an outstanding bronze statue of two Red Deer rutting for £175k. Came home realising that I really need to push the business on and earn more to be able to enjoy some of the finer things in life ;-)

Went yesterday, just drove straight in (9-30), no probs. Bloo*y hot, and poor dogs being led around in that heat. Friend there today said he drove straight in (just after 8) Some great stuff to see, nice side by side 600 rifle, a snip at £245k!!!!

Well it's a pleasure to go to an event on our side of the country instead of the other. About time you folk from the east joined a queue.
Lamma and cereals are a joke from our direction so we felt very happy to hear of queuing from the east.
We drove straight in yesterday and straight out. Perfect.

Instead of sitting in a queue next to us you had the company of the Aston martins and the range rovers of the eastern plum cords brigade!

Left home 6.45 went in this morning from M69/A46 didn't get in until 9.30 ridiculous. A 46 was starting to clog at junctions before 8am and it was queueing the last mile of the A46 then 3 miles of stop (up to 5 mins at a time) start along farm tracks. Not been to it at Ragley before and won't bother again - traffic management was awful and the showground layout not very clever. Hardly moved for 1/2 hr on the car park getting out too. Roll on its return to Belvoir. At least not too hot today.

Had to chuckle - one of the range rovers on the Land Rover Experience got an engine full of water when it tipped off the seesaw into the lake a bit sharp and went in too deep..... had to be winched out and they shut that bit of the course off as they must have rutted it under water which made it too deep. Wonder how much that cost?

I drove straight into the show ground at 7.30 am having come from Evesham direction & not had to queue at all. Drove straight out again at 4.30 pm. No problems at all. It all depends on what time you & everyone else decide to turn up.

It didn't seem that busy compared to other years & the area higher up the hill around the main arena, Countryside Alliance, GWCT etc seemed very quiet.
