Anyone any pics or videos of there gic lifting deck in action? How many sheep can you get in a 14ft one?

I have some photos I took of mine somewhere, but it was made before the current folks owned the company and tidied/improved them.

You can have whatever size you want. Mine is a 14’ triaxle with wheels on the outside and I can get fifty 45-47kg hoggs in easily enough (around the farm).
I spoke to someone a month or so back that had a new 14’ triaxle with wheels underneath and he reckoned he could get fifty five 50kg hoggs in his.
Like all 14’ triaxles, the legal towing capacity would make more difference to how many lambs you can get in, if you were taking it on a main road….

Do you loose much space with the lifting deck?

They’re 14’ plus the front nose, so theres more room than a standard 14’, as Neilo says, the well takes up very little room, I’ve never had to load less on the top to make up for it.

All three as one was pulling at the front and if we just put one on it would of buggered it fairly quickly as the others were already settled. Trailers about 15 year old though and it's the first thing we've done at the chassis side. Had to have decks serviced about 8 year ago as they were running true.

I've a cone nose 12 ft tri-axle Gamic and can get 55 sucking lambs, averaging 41 kgs,in comfortably.I think the cone front extends the trailer to approximately 13ft 8ins.
