Treadplate Overland living accommodation on a Mog
That is the ultimate beaters wagon
How does a 14ft gamic compare to a ifor/Nugent weight wise. I'd imagine it's a good bit heavier?
Dear Santa ??
Thats tidy.
Anyone know how long a wait there is with them for trailers atm?
I was there in June for some treadplate and the lad said 18 months for a trailer. Three 14ft triple axles being made at the same time that dayThats tidy.

18 months?? You could be deid by then!I was there in June for some treadplate and the lad said 18 months for a trailer. Three 14ft triple axles being made at the same time that day
Tri axle, under or outside wheels ?18 month? Jings! Who's got a Gamic on order then???
I've put my name on a new trailer last week - supposed to be here end of next month...
So, I will have a 12ft Ifor with decks for sale if anyone needs tiding over

All good things come to those who wait.
I put in an order for my replacement almost 18 months ago but, as my 9 yr old trailer is still almost as good as new, I did let them know I wasn’t urgent. I guess I ought to chase up and see if I’m moving up the list yet?
Very happy that my 9 yr old Gamic is still as solid as a rock tbh, not having had pop rivets springing out in all directions, and I still find myself smiling whenever I stand pushing a button to raise the decks.
If Carlsberg made trailers…..
Did you pay for it back then or when you get delivery?
Steel is 50% dearer now, than it was in January
The Ifor is 20. I've only this past month had to put new rivets in it anywhere - that's the first! Oh, it did have new struts for the ramp 2yr ago.
I've no complaints with the old girl (but I'm well aware the new ones are much poorer, and that's why the new trailer is not another Ifor).
So what you go for? (Seeing as no one else has asked)Did you pay for it back then or when you get delivery?

Why change it if not losing value and working well? No, just put my name on one, with a price to change that valued my existing one at around what I paid for it. I’ve yet to see a Gamic with hydraulic decks secondhand, and trade-in value reflects that.
IW’s were less cr*p twenty years ago. We used to keep an old one as a ‘farm’ trailer, and have another that we replaced every 3 years, with each being more poorly built than the one it replaced.
The old girl was always far better for towing.
I'm guessing NugentSo what you go for? (Seeing as no one else has asked)
