Gap between PGRs on w.barley

I've not sprayed our winter barley yet due to cold weather, night frosts.

It's after long term ley and has a lot of residual N. It's had 180kg N.

I'm planning going tomorrow if it's dry with 1.3l 750c and 0.2 moddus and Fungicide.

How long till I can hit it again?

Easy when its not yours though.

Get it with Terpal just before flag lead if it still needs it. modus is poison to barley when it’s cold.

I confess ours had ccc and modus.
Looks very lush and tall already. Had terpal on Monday as well.
Isn't barley half its height when ear emerges?

If it’s looking a little too good I’d up the 3c to 1.5 ltr then go with Terpal at GS37

I suspect this might be a year where barley makes a fool of us if some heat arrives. On the other hand there's greed for straw.

The window for pgr will close for mine in about 10 days I guess. 155kg on a 4th cereal, but lashings of muck annually. I'll probably gamble.

The difference between 1.3L CCC and 1.5L CCC is fudge all. If you have already done one application I'd be doing something else now.

It's first year doing it myself. Don't want it to go flat or will never hear the end of it!
