Yes, but I wonder why JD 750A specifications requires only 110 hp for a 4 metre? They look quite the same?

I don’t agree with JD figures in as much as I tried a 125r on my 3m 750 and found it to struggle if presented with a hill, it did get there but I had to be mindful of keeping engine revs up and to have spare gears to drop down into.
Aha, maybe JD and Väderstad hires the same guy to figure out the hp requirements then.

It might have been the 125r, some are reputed to be gutless others are pocket rockets. Had my 4m on my 6400 and it romped away with it, it would have struggled drilling beans up a steep bank but would have run out of grip way before power was a limiting factor. 3 m 750’s are good matches for 6420s’ and 6430’s.

Most people run Vaderstad front discs far too deep, they’re designed just to tickle the surface to create a crumb rather than doing a cultivation job and it’s this that just eats power.
