Gatekeeper second computer

I know it’s possible but would like to hear user experience, are there any issues having gatekeeper on a second computer off farm, I’d like to use it on my home PC as well as the office one, are there any known issues with data sync etc? I have the web app already that I use in the sprayer and at home but it’s very limited. TIA.

Very easy, just make sure you always sync when you log in and log out. Also make sure only one machine is being used at any one time.

Can you remember how much it was to add the second computer, I think I asked years ago and £100 springs to mind?

Can you set up a Remote Desktop connection from your home machine back to the work machine running GK?

In theory you could access it from anywhere or any device including a tablet etc.

We run it on two computers. It's ok but the second one cannot do everything that the main one can. The main one is the only one which can import new jobs from say agronomist or external recs and it is also the only one which can sync with the web app for the iPad.
TBH is a bit of a pain like a lot of things in gatekeeper! But it is handy to have it at home as well.

I haven't managed to find a better program yet!!

It's not that cheep from memory. I will have to have a look tomorrow.

If you have any add on modules I believe you also have to pay for them again on the 2nd computer. Gatekeeper seems an expensive option to me!
