Gator design faults

We had a quick go in the new type end of summer. I didn't reckon much of it and was wanting to order one beforehand. Pretty much all the old one needed to improve it was a decent heater to keep windows clear. They've thrown the baby out with the bathwater with the "redesign" IMO. The rainwater problem above is just hilarious, someone got paid to come up with that :banghead::scratchhead::confused:

I like the extra room in the cab ours is full if you have a passenger and dog. new one looks like plenty of room for3 people and
still plenty room on floor and big storage box under passenger seats.

Ours eats belt's
There are five local to me. The two busy farms bought them new each have had at least three of them and they are constantly getting fixed. One of them has his on some sort of contract maintenance. The other ones have problems but not so bad

We've had this one just over two years and must of had 6or7 belts had the last one over 4years never did a belt. Not really had much else belt's haven't been a problem under warranty just when they start to go ring up and get them to come out to swap it when it's not in use before they actually snap

Sometimes the variable pulley needs bushes etc as if it’s worn it will grab the belt and chew it up

They’re 200kg heavier on the same wheels :banghead: Must be a lot worse visibility with them doors too

Been told if you put washing up liquid on a cloth and wipe it on inside of windows it stops them steaming up. A coach drivers trick not tried it yet but worth a shot

Got long trailer drawbars just getting them on. Ok if trailers empty but if it's got summat in its different. Not keen on extending drawbar it will increase pressure and I already put to much weight on it. Just had a silage bale on back and one in trailer tonight to take out to cows

This is one of the problems I wasn't impressed with. They seem to have done nothing with the power steering so all the extra weight over the front makes the steering a lot heavier.
