(Gay) Farming job in Northwest

Morning all,

I'm new to the forum so I apologise if I'm stepping on anyone's toes.

I really want to work in farming and have done for many years. I don't really mind which area of farming as they all have their individual difficulties and to be honest all areas interest me, so why pigeon hole myself.

The issue is I'm new to farming so have no experience and I'm gay. I've attempted to seek work in this area before with little luck and people were either insulting, offensive or saw my ad as some sort of sexual invitation (which it isn't). I'm aware it's not a particularly welcoming profession for homosexuals but I'm fit, not afraid of hardwork and a bloody nice guy, so I see no reason why it should be an issue. I'm straight acting and very discrete, so if there are any closeted farmer, we can be happy in our work without the worry.

Just wanted to be honest from the beginning. I'm based in Liverpool but can commute to around 25 miles out of town.
