So what goons , have dared to rule that we now have to change our plates to UK. After more than a century it beggars belief that foreigners can determine what we place on our cars to identify a British vehicles!
I find it incredulous that our government have allowed this change to be forced through the UN without consulting us the people affected!
Some one should be sacked!

A Department for Transport spokesperson said: "Changing the national identifier from GB to UK symbolises our unity as a nation and is part of a wider move towards using the UK signifier across government.
"We notified the UN of our intention to make these changes in July, and have been working with the sector to implement the change."
The latest change comes just nine months after the government announced new style number plates to mark the one-year anniversary of Brexit.

Exactly a pointless beaurocratic move. Absolutely no point to this move except to force those with the old style GB incorporated number plates to buy a UK sticker
I believe the EU has already said it will continue to recognise the old style plates, giving one finger to Boris

Depends on ones perspective since GB only covers 1 part of the country formally.

Yet the prats insist I keep my bull's two UK ear tags in but add a third identical but prefixed GB when I "export" him to Northern Ireland ............

Meanwhile, any sheep to be exported to the EU currently need to have a third tag put in, carrying exactly the same numbers as the two ‘UK’ tags they currently have, but with the letters ‘GB’ on them instead.
