Gearbox oil leval New holland TL100A

Does anyone else have any problems reading the dipstick oil leval on these TLA tractors for the gearbox.
Could it be possible to fit a sightglass to make it easier.

Yes probably is too shiny
You have to check it and go out into the day light to check the leval and its difficult to see the point of where the oil finishes.

Yes,they are hard to read. You do get used to it tho.Take it out, wipe off and replace should then see a blob of oil in the top detent if it’s full, more important than some tractors that the level is right, easy to overfill as well.I have a round file I use if concerned, but keep a firm grip of it😬

Can you rough the dipstick up? Squeeze it in vice for the jaws to leave an imprint? Score lines across it with hacksaw? Paint it white? These were all things we used to do on new tractors years ago!!!
