Gem sprayers

Not the most exciting question. Whats the difference between the white/red and blue/red? Assumed there would be a changeover date (white/red older than blue/red) or similar but doesn't seem to be.

Not much really Dave... Around the time Case were interested in buying Gem Sprayers (97/98), a decision was made to change the colour scheme from Blue tank and Red booms/wheels to White tank/wheels and Red Booms. I even think a couple of SPs were produced with a White tank/wheel rims, Red booms and Black chassis/Engine Frames this may have been during the transition after Case bought Gem.

There was a big product launch at the factory when they introduced the colour change along with improvements to the trailed range (tracking drawbars) and the launch of the Emerald SP sprayer (which later became the SP2000).

After a time they all then went to Case Red with Black chassis.
