A "like" for that was not sufficient, and I commend you on the astuteness of your post. You already know I do not patronise.

Obviously his posts are politically motivated, as are Jendan's, which rather surprises me. I had marked him as a farmer, not a political beast.
My posts are not politically motivated, and i have already told you that i am not a member of any political party.I am an ordinary working farmer, and have been all my life. But i reserve the right to critisise policies that I believe are misguided, unjust and unfair,or are just plain bonkers. And the same goes for MPs,councillors, and other civil servants both elected and unelected.

I voted out out a sense that our domestic politicans couldn't be properly held to account. They tend to blame everything which is bad, not done properly or not up to scratch on the EU. Therefore I wanted out of EU so there could be no more excuses and we could judge them all on performance.

To do so requires them to spell out in crystal clear terms what their agenda is for the next term of parliament. I vote for the leader or party which most closely matches my own requirements or beliefs. At next election I want to make my judgment based on performance against promises.

On TM, my own judgement is that she has nothing in terms of achievement or core philosophy carrying forward from her political past life. She is now most closely associated with Brexit even though she never once to my knowledge expressed a single scintilla of support for it prior to her becoming PM !!!
If I'm incorrect here perhaps you might enlighten me?

So now in my opinion she is about to engage in a massive power grab due to the implosion of labour and the Corbyn effect.
That's ok. Nothing wrong or illegal about that.

Nevertheless in my humble opinion she needs to spell out graphically what she intends to do with that power.

Since the greatest political challenge of our times is Brexit, she does in my opinion need to SPELL IT OUT! I want to judge her in the future against what she spells out now.

That's MY opinion! It's precious to me and I intend to keep it that way. The fact that you try to ridicule that is YOUR right I suppose.

I won't respond in kind though. I respect others right to have their own opinions and won't ridicule them for that.
I don't ridicule your opinions at all. Yours are not diametrically opposed to my own.

However, regardless of your views on TM, you need to accept that she has to negotiate with the EU top dogs and will be up against 27 other nations, all with different agendas. Until she and her team know what they are proposing, it is a tough call to ask her to spell out the plan to the electorate at this stage. In any event, nothing can possible happen until after the GE.

I am as impatient as anyone, but we have to accept that this will be a 2 year process at least. Frankly, I don't see anyone else in our government equal to the task at present. Just be thankful that Bojo didn't end up as PM !! So the Conservatives will get my vote - this time.

Could put a handle in Mays back turn it and have it blurt out any of the following catchphrases.
"strong and stable"
"Coalition of chaos"

Certainly seems to me not keen to actually engage wider electorate, or outline any policies just rhetoric.

Yes.
But, can you be bothered to vote?
You couldn't in the "Brexit" election and do nothing but moan about the result.

Ha ha, it was a joke along with Howard but some struggle with their sense of humer, although also going with the point that I still do t know an ex pat that I meet on a regular basis that did vote.

However carry on with the "pops" , makes no odds to me(y)

Plenty round here including myself. All we talk and argue about on here counts for FA, it's only our vote that may make a difference.

Just out of interest are we now not going to be present at EU meetings.? I note we were not part of the last meeting 're terms of Brexit , Surely if we are paying out subs we should have a mandatory right to be present , voting and vocal until such a time that we have left.

Is I understand it the UK will not be barred from EU meetings apart from ones that are sensitive to the Brexit negotiations and this is probably where the problem starts as to how they agree which these are.

Makes perfect sense, cant see us inviting them into our meetings on brexit, bit of a hysterical non story, usual sh*t babyish news. Negotiating is all about bluster/bluff/nerves/telling half truths etc etc not going to be very believable if your in the meeting were you hear your opponents talk about what they're prepared to cede, think is or isnt going to happen, red lines etc etc.

It's the subscriptions we have already agreed to which come to the £60 bn so the talking has already been done[emoji15]

I dont know who is advising her but trying to out do Blair with all the phrases and soundbites is a bit out of date really. People liked her for her seeming a doer rather than a political monkey spouting a load of soundbites.

I would think many who were all for her would see her in this last week as patronizing their intelligence and if it wasnt for brexit she'd be on the pile with the rest of them. Using phrases like 'strengthen my hand' is stupid when she's been accused of acting like a dictator.. she actually wasnt but now is is giving everyone the ammo they need.
The Tories never were a slick media machine, own worst enemies. The sad thing is the other showers have got far bigger problems than presenting themselves properly.

I think this is already the case that EU nationals have been barred from certain civil service jobs where they might compromise the UK's Brexit proposals.

It is just aswell she is so far ahead in the polls, and labour are dead. She was particular poor on Marrs show, had nothing new to say,and Marr was very easy on her.She would have been mincemeat with a Paxman or a Humpherys.
