Situation Vacant General Farm Worker (Essex)

We are looking for someone to join our small team on our mixed poultry, arable and hay farm. The applicant must be well motivated and be able to communicate well, with a good attention to detail and be confident working as part of a team as well as on their own.

Duties will involve tractor driving for cultivations, fertilising, hay making, carting etc along with customer facing duties and delivering hay and straw to customers. There will also be some animal husbandry and egg collection work from time to time, along with record keeping, general maintenance, yard duties and grounds maintenance; in-all, a varied job. A can-do attitude is necessary and a willingness to work longer hours during peak seasons like hay making and harvesting.
