Chap I know runs his off 20kva, not lots of stuff all at once tho. He’s a one man band so only welder or compressor plus some lights.

I had a 25kva pto generator on the back of the old Nash, ran it on the 1000 rpm shaft when I was using 5 hp motors, and on the 540 shaft when I was using the welder (400amp) got a 45 kva one now and it runs away on next to nothing.
