Thought I’d have a walk through a spinney we own which backs on to some very expensive houses, its fenced off for our cattle so don't really go in there very often, kindly neighbour obviously thought our trees needed some compost, plan to have a word tomorrow and give them two weeks to clear it, cant get in with a machine to lift it back over unless i hired a mini digger, can I report them to anyone if they refuse

What did they say?
Met the wife out walking the dog
me 'appears you've been depositing your garden waste on our land'
she 'Eh what'
me 'in the trees at the bottom of the garden'
she 'that's my husbands department'
me 'so you don't know anything about it?'
she 'no, is that your land? (she knows bloody well it's our land),' is it a problem? '
me ' yes you are throwing your waste on our land'
Now after saying she knew nothing about it she says 'there's been some break ins in some of the houses so he put it there to prevent access through the back garden'
me 'so why didn't he put it your side of the fence?'
she ' I'll get him to phone you'

I didn't get a phone call but she texted me to say they will clear it and how soon do I want it shifting, so hopefully sorted, we shall see.

I've got some land bordering onto some houses and it has been used as a dumping ground for just about everything. I sent letters to all of them to stop but they didn't.
I caught one of them red handed dumping asbestos sheets. I told the council but they did nothing because the householder told them they had been there for years. I had to clean it up at £1200. I took them to small claims court though and got all the money back😀.
After 5 years I've had no more nonsense from any of the householders .

If they don't shift it just wait until the day they urgently need to leave the village and then unfortunately break down whilst blocking the only way in or out of the village :joyful:

chap who worked for my cousin, bought a 2nd hand freezer, guaranteed in working order, it didn't, they didn't want to know, so he filled it with ripe pig sh!t, on cousins forklift, and deposited it in the middle of their drive, stopping them coming or going, he never got his money back, but did admit he wasn't to worried, as he quite enjoyed returning it, and hearing the gossip, that resulted.
