Guess it’s going to be out like a lion.

I'm in the northeast corner of Zone 2, fairly remote from our epicenter, which would be Saint John, under the "o". we have one couple down the road who came back from Spain on isolation, but so far, no sign of infection.

Lots of snowbirds have come back. I’m surprised we only have one case really.

The area is quite large, probably over 100km from top to bottom. You can easily tell on that map where the majority of Albertans live. Highway 2 corridor.

Pretty much all of our cases are a mix of older folks, snowbirds, and younger family members. As of today we still have no cases of community transfer. All can be related to families of people who came home with it, and virtually all the ones who came home with it are elderly, 60+.
I'm watching closely a situation near here where 2 men have been charged with violating their self imposed isolation by going to the Post Office. Both men got into altercations, one with the police and one with a neighbour, and both men spat at these people. I'm hoping they "throw the book at them" but I'll have to wait and see.
It's +2 and windy, but no snow or rain.

I'm not sure about that. I did see that "pretty boy" gave a tender to a company called Thornhill Medical, in Ontario, for the supply of 500 ventilators out of 1500. They are being built in Guelph by a company called Linamar. The other companies he went on about are providing PPE so I don't think they are making ventilators.
There is also supposed to be another order for 4000 but no supplier mentioned to that one either. If they are being made by GM, we better hope it's GM Canada or else Trump will probably stop them at the border.
Bauer should have plenty of experience for that job.

Well, it's not all sunshine and lollipops done here, if that helps any. It is a tad warmer, +4 but with a continuous NE wind for the last 2 days, coupled with steady drizzle, showers and flurries. It sure doesn't feel like spring, more like fall.

Just made me laugh the temp difference. 4 being close to 0 does seem closer to -24 than it does to +32. Probably because we get -24 more often than +32. Yet they’re the same distance apart.

Being 30 degrees colder than normal and 40 degrees colder than last year makes it sound downright frigid. Luckily I looked up historical stuff and in 2018 it was -28 without the wind so at least we aren’t there :ROFLMAO:

Here's how March ended up this year.
Max temp: 9.4C
Min temp: -28.8C
Total precipitation: 13.1mm
Maximum wind gust: 59 km/hr

Info from March 2019:
Max temp: 12C
Min temp: -35.5C
Total precipitation: 3.8 mm
Maximum wind gust: 48 km/hr

From March 2018:
Maximum temp: 6.8C
Minimum temp: -26.8C
Total precipitation: 22.4 mm
Maximum wind gust: 56 km/hr

April has been cold. The last time we seen temps in this area at the beginning of April was in 2018. Looking back at photos the snow pack was fairly comparable if maybe a bit less in 2018. That was also the year we had overland flooding in many places when it finally started to melt. I can see that happening here. I've started a photo a week thing on Twitter just because it has to start warming up at some point this month and when it does the changes are going to be drastic.
