At least the local bbc look north weather have just admitted they got the forecast wrong. The rain came inland 50 miles further than expected. One field has dried out quite well this evening but the others are sheltered with big hedges so will be unlikely to make hay. I will wrap it all! Tomorrow is fine till mid afternoon.

That's pretty good for mid august , I've baled couple of hundred ryegrass this afternoon , have informed fire brigade :eek:
I baled some westerwolds about a fortnight ago needed a couple more days despite being down over a wk, left it stacked up in heaps till monday but was sweating so torched it, baled up some loverly stuff today tho

Ours got drenched in the heavy rain last night. About 16 acres of good hay. Slight possibility of getting late on today then the forecast is poor right through to next week.

Given that the entire east of the UK got soaked yesterday, and the entire west of the UK is getting soaked today, the OP's Sunday forecast is looking like the worst decision since someone said 'Jeremy Clarkson won't mind having a few sandwiches for his supper.....'

Tbf to met jeff he tried to give an accurate forecast and failed miserably , whereas the bbc forecast every scenario and still get it wrong .

Well he's forecasting high pressure sitting over the country by next weekend with a return to summer conditions. He's certainly prepared to put his neck on the line.
