OK, we need some rain in East Anglia, so i'm going to report no rain seen yet, and will resort to hanging out some washing, getting the sprinkler out, and intend to have a BBQ this evening.
Should do the trick..

I’ve got some new garden furniture I’m going to start putting together....

Huge cracks for the time of year now, wheat looking good but needs moisture soon.

I happened to walk past the combine earlier, did wonder about going and getting the key and taking it for a spin round the yard :ROFLMAO:

7mm today, I whacked on a fair chunk of Nitrogen yesterday on the wheats and finished last field of spring barley in the rain this morning.

Now a nice warm spell would be ideal, unlike last year where I missed all the rain I seem to be getting a share so far, fingers crossed!

Nothing here either other than a few spots which dried off the concrete almost immediately.
Parched. Beet and wheat desperate. Wheat losing leaves.

Beet has had no rain since drilling on 2nd April, apart from about 6 mm the day after. Still only the size of a £2 coin. Pitiful. A few aphids on it as well but not at threshold. A pheasant could clear half an acre the speed it's growing.
