Getting Add Blue on farms

Did you help yourself to engine oil too speedy ?
Get an older tractor that doesn't use add blue.

I would not use his oil in my tractor as we only us the best oil there is not oil from B & Q like what he would use

Lots of reasons ,talking to my men like sh!t is not on so we had a talk with all the lads that work for us and every one said they did not want to work there again,I respect what they said so that was the end of it

In my observation and use of contractors fuel if taken off the customer inevitably turns into a nighmare, id get a bowser use all your fuel ad blue and just charge for it, id keep note of liters and itemise it on invoice and then everyone knows where they are and your not risking your equipment with some famrers dirty/watery fuel.

Plus it doesn't lead to falling out, both parties know exactly where they stand

Seems to get real personal in north wales farmers contractors or customers when fall out

Some of these tanks on farms aren't that big , chopper would gulp down a fair bit from an average size tank,

Well customs vary around the country. Down here you hire a contractor to do the job at an agreed rate. None of this nonsense about filling up with your fuel. I wouldn't entertain it. Keep it straightforward and it avoids misunderstandings that can lead to a breakdown in relationships. KISS management here , pay and be paid

But some farmer think they are saving money by supplying the fuel, EVEN though it cost the exact same, or even cheaper if contractor supplied it, as he's probably ordering a bigger order quantity and more regular so gets better deals off fuel companies

we had some work one by a gut and the deal was so much per hour plus the cost of diesel.
when bill came, he was charging his diesel out to us at less than we were buying it.
AND, he had no worries of whether our tank was full of contaminants or not. best way IMO

But on the other side of things, it's bad enough the contractor not getting paid for months on end for the work he's done, but having supplied the fuel too is another kick in the nuts, as most fuel companies don't feck about and want paid every 15 day, end of, or your on a
