We’re mainly medium, light and stony soils although we do have some heavy clay ground it’s not much on the grand scheme of things.
The downside is i was hoping this none existant rain might have germinated the last 2 acres of spring barley but as it hasn;t even disolved yesterdays fert that won;t have happened

Nothing here, starting to think about cutting N on lighter land and giving it to the heavier stuff or saving until next year. Already pleased I did that with the winter barley, it wouldn’t have got to the crop in time .
