I thought we were lapsing into gobbledy-gook with snoney and glods

Not a clue what glods are, but I know what clods are.... we’re that stoney in some fields that when they last got destoned the stone trench were the highest parts of the fields

As a 17 year old I was sent for a barrow full of gobbledy-gooks. I pushed my empty barrow all the way through the village to fetch them. Then when my boss told me to get the other two to cut some new ones I pushed my empty barrow back again.

You want to collect and dry those for fuel next Winter. Just make sure not too much E'rth in 'um.

Nothing is too stoney for a power Harrow.

You could try waiting for rain and then rolling it? Or small spaced discs in a different direction plus a roller.

Small spaced disc yes .seen a lot working in the US .damned expensive though

Something like a vaderstad carrier with small discs I mean, something which only chops 2-3” and not something with big discs that almost ploughs to 4-5”.

Got a Kuhn power Harrow and some stones ground, stones not huge but a bit like working pebble beach.
No problem and it found a bit of soil.
