Has anyone any tips on getting rid of the silage stink off your hands? Normally make hay but crap weather meant silage was only option. Filled some feeders tonight & even I think I stink! My wife's not impressed & I can't imagine my work colleagues tomorrow will be either! (Work in an office!)
So far swarfega/ normal soap/ old fashioned carbolic & mint shower gel hasn't done the trick....

Thanks all I'll give the suggestions a go except for the calving fluids. Your right about the gloves, I'll wear them in the future, just never thought it would stick so much - this must of been a ripe bale!

Those metal bars of soap, someone on here recommended them when I first joined. Dunno how they work, but they do.

I'm the biggest sceptic, but I got one from amazon and they really do work. Dunelm sell them too.
Wash hands with soap, rinse then use metal soap bar, then soap again,
Or soap, rinse, soap and metal soap together.
Hands smell kind of lemony afterwards.
