Getting the snip.

I had it done a few years ago at the County hospital. First they make sure you really want to proceed. Then on arrival at hospital, I had what could now be classed as a @Baldrick moment, when the young nurse asked if I wanted her to shave me.....not my chin you understand .... I declined her kind offer and borrowed her clippers and razors. Then in the op theatre, as I lay down with groovy music in my ears, the man in the white coat asked if I minded some students observing, go for it I replied, then about four girls and one bloke appeared around me.....jeezz I thought, what if I know some of them...? Then while taking it easy for a few days I slipped into vehicle inspection pit ....  . So in summary...........yes it was painful.

The surgeon who did mine thought around 10% get it reversed, which I thought was a surprisingly high rate.

When i had mine done, they were talking about getting it reversed. I nearly swore at them for even mentioning it.

They started on the right side first but seemed to have problems with the pipework. Don't remember what now bit my word, it bloody hurt. I'm not one to show emotion but my body was rigid, whole right side of my body started cramping up. Nurse musta noticed, maybe because my face started to look like a mangled dish cloth and appeared talking about......well who knows what, it still bloody hurt and there she is, wittering about some crappy crap crap.

Why the hell, you would want a surgeon opening it all up again to mess with your pipes again is way beyond me. 3 children is enough. My mental health isn't strong enough for more or to watch my wife go through all the pregnancy and labour again.

When i had mine, Mrs collapsed, though to this day she denies it.
Had a couple of days on the sofa, then back to work. I did suffer a little as was doing some lifting stuff at work which would have beeen best avoided.
Nothing to it. And certainly better than Mrs taking chemicals for years surely?

Brother of Mrs N's best friend, gets wed, didn't last 12 months, eventually gets wed again, has a girl and a boy, has snip, she suddenly turns round and says she's actually gay and is moving in with her friend from the gym and takes the kids with her.

Finally meets another woman, she want's kids but he can't oblige, tries for a reversal job but doesn't work out.
