its two elctrodes that cause a scar tissue in the tubes, they do it twice on each tube, no chance of it breaking down like the cutting and tyingmethod, only odd bit was they use it to seal up the hole too so no stiches, but a bit odd watching smoke come of your rubbish and the smell is just like dehorning :ROFLMAO:
So was that a new thing at the time or what? Never heard of it before, mine was just the cut and tie

My wife had a confinement fit when she had our second and was advised not to get pregnant again, we both thought that two was enough and decided that it was easier for me to get 'done' than her. The op was done on my birthday in 1983ish, I was working permanent night shift at the time and had the op on a Friday morning after finishing work, back to work on Sunday night, I was a supervisor so not much physical work apart from walking about 10 miles a night through the warehouse. We did finish early on Monday morning and I joined in the usual game of football after the clearing up was done (y). Take it easy for a few days and you should be fine other than a little discomfort.
Being a Jaffa does have its advantages :sneaky:.

What an education. Before I read this thread I had considered myself pretty strong stomached but after the queasiness and sweats apparently I'm not. :dead:
