Well I found it very positive. . . . . . and largely what I already kind of knew, just put in a far more concise, and straight forward manner, by guys with the experience and knowledge to really put the message across well.

From GO - the focus seemed to be upon farming smart for profit, changing what you can change rather than worrying about what price you may receive. So looking at genetics, a better system, and really getting to grips with grass management.

From Dr Rex - I learn that soil is incredibly important, and I really know bugger all about it. There were some fascinating links made between general health, specific problems and growth etc, and soil constitutions.

The magic book is awesome as well.

I believe that when the geek who services the Easyram website returns to work, the full book will be posted on that. Until then there will be a short wait, but I am sure @easyram1 will advise when on TFF.
I have offered to post up extracts / blog in News area / livestock thread Murray if tis helps. Robyn @easyram1 is aware

Would have loved to be at one of your programme this year :(

Very interesting afternoon, heard Murray before, Rex discussed many things which I have never heard before.
Thanks Mr and Mrs Easyram for organising and hosting.
Do you have the results of the stock judging as we had to leave before it was announced.

my magic book was in the post ;) thanks @Global ovine but yer forgot to sign it or did yer get clever and sign it some were radom so i have to read it HAHAHA

i have read most of it and will be reading it again a bit harder

for people who don't know i buy rams of GO and also have dealings with Rex (is he home yet GO ?)
to give some idea of gains from rams and advice from rex we lifted 15 % in scanning % this year up to 170% thats not looking for triplets so maybe higher

@JD-Kid it would be nice to claim some of that lift, but the biggest lift will be in Growth of lambs. The recently released 2015 Central Progeny Test results from B+LNZ Genetics (CPT) show the sire of some of the rams you purchased as being 33% ahead of the 2nd equal rams. What is so significant about this result is rankings usually change by about 1-2% per rank. To have such a huge advantage is quite remarkable. What is more, we have proven sires with Growth Indexes 3 times higher than the old ram used in the CPT. In your environment where your production season is so short due to summer dry, this should be a huge advantage.
