My buying group has some, supplies are tight and they are prioritising deliveries and planning pre and post harvest demands to stem panic buying and further straining of supplies
They have provided a superb service all year from spot on advice on N, early warning on glypho, kerb etc and currently early heads up on key spring products while remaining very competitive on price
I’m not trying to put down Farm Marketplace but buying on price is one thing, the market advice and work that goes into securing competitive supplies is what my BG provides and what gives it an advantage and value to me

nothing wrong with buying groups - it’s why we started a free one www.farmdeals.ag - had great advice and was able to buy fuel at the right time recently using it to track prices daily

Farm Marketplace was never intended to fill the major input space ……… and had no chance of doing so as market transparency is not in the trades interest., its a closed shop that sadly doesn’t work for farmers and there seems little will to change ! It’s been quite successful in other areas however

May I ask which buying group???? I assume it's not the Norfolk based one from what your saying, they seem to have gone right down the pan this last year to 18 months.
