Glysophate

Not really. I bought from a serviced agronomy company at £50.50 delivered a few weeks ago.

Despite you pointing out regularly that anyone that doesn't use independent agronomist like yourself is a mug.

Your price was a few weeks ago. I doubt you could get that price now. We got ours for £43 a few weeks ago but today it’s £66, going up to £72 on Monday.

How many litres of Glysophate would you guys use for a hectare per year?

Sorry for the ignorant question, I'm an engineer, not a farmer but I was always curious how much the cost of chemicals is for you guys each year.
Cheers,
Dave

Any suggestions for the best adjuvant to go with it ? Make my stock last a bit longer!
Best I would say is Li-700, except that is now considerably rarer than glyphosate and has been from my experience impossible to get hold of for over a year.

Next best (I'm hoping) is Validate. I haven't used it for a very long time so time, but have got it for this autumn as my replacement, now that I've used up all my Li-700.

Ammonium Sulphate is also pretty effective, sold under various brands, or just buy some AS crystals and chuck it in as you fill at around 150g-200g/100L of water.

Validate should be better than Li700 as I think I’m right in saying it was brought out to supersede Li700.

You're right, but newer isn't always better!
To be fair I've never done a head to head with them both, but always been very happy with Li-700 and it was always cheaper in the past. Although I seem to recall there not being too much between what I paid for Validate this time and what I paid for Li-700 last time I could get some. I'll go and check.

Edit:
£7/L Validate last month (£1.75/Ha)
verses
£8/L Li-700 in autumn 2019 (£2/Ha) up from £5/L in spring 2019 (£1.25).
