Goat and yellow bile?

Hi all. One of my goats seemed to vomit or sneeze a few days ago, and got a kind of yellow bile all over me (much appreciated) it had bits of food in, I think, and some grass. Smelt horrible. He did so again today (thankfully not on me) but got it all over his face.
Does anyone know what might cause this? He’s very active and isn’t off his food. There isn’t much when he does it, maybe just a few flecks. As far as I’m aware, there isn’t anything in the field that isn’t safe to eat.

Hi. Thank you so much for your eloquent and insightful response. I’m amazed that a man such as you isn’t writing novels!
I’ve read your reply to my entire family, and we are currently at prayer.
I’ve sent this to the Saudi Arabian Goat Society, that is just how incredible I find your writings. Perhaps you will get a commendation from the crown prince himself?

brilliant..a newbie with attitude..good on you(y)....don't be to hard on @Northeastfarmer ...he's probably just grumpy cos he can't work a roto spreader (in joke);).....not many goat keepers on here but hopefully one that might help....a quick google....goat vomitting cud?....any potentially toxic plants?

Sounds like cud to me - it's pretty gross once they've been chewing it for hours. You can always stick your finger in the side of his mouth and fish some cud out for verification....

I've worked with a goat you used to spit that at me... As a hello. Tended to be after eating woody stuff that he couldn't digest... Including fencing. Sometimes he just cud spat. Only did it at men. You said sneeze could just be a sneeze.... But bits of stomach Co tents wouldn't be too unusual

@Fool join the accidental smallholders forum there are a lot if goat keepers on there and a few vets too that should be able to help :)

I would recommend if you are unsure talking to your vet. Better to be safe than sorry :)
