Been mentioned on here before and I made an escape gate in the cow yards using one. Up high like that I would cable tie some canvas over it......... could be quite exciting with a haybob time pinging past your ear!

That's brilliant. Two gates side by side and in the same frame. The striking end of each gate should be ''insulated'' so that you can brush past it without damaging the bike.

In fact, two 6' x 4' sheets of marine plywood would do.
