Boris Johnson, one of the key people who made the public vote for Brexit has finally given us something to be happy about. He's only achieved what Obama said was impossible and put Britain first in line for trade. That should give Britian a better negotiating power with the EU talks in March and hopefully help improve our pound. Anyone want to add to this?

Just imagine these two meeting each other, almost like twins.

You mean Boris the man whose track record for telling lies (350 million anyone?) goes back decades, who is so two-faced he will say anything one day and the opposite the next?
HE hasn't put Britain 'first in line for trade'. No-one has. A spokesman has thrown out this line and the right wing press and delusional Brexiters are over the moon. Still, we can sell jam in Zimbabwe and export British tea products to Japan (hang on, don't they....?)

Wow, no introduction and straight for the jugular .
What a shame that no one wants to invest in the UK any more http://businessadvice.co.uk/finance...a_newsletter_12432&utm_content=ba_story_stand
Moaning remainders should not read the above as facts might spoil their gloomy outlook :).

Someone with an advanced degree and or PhD decades of experience, several publications of note or some other outstanding example of skill knowledge and abilities?

Or are you tired of scientific academic and human progress and yearn for common sense innit solutions that fit your ideas?

Yes it was a great year for foreign investment in our tech industry. Sadly however we lost one of our premier tech companies ARM as it was 100% acquired by a Japanese investor. That deal alone skewed the numbers big time and for that matter would never have happened were it not for the collapse in sterling which in turn was a by product of Brexit. Our loss, Japan's gain.
Sadly I'm afraid more good British companies will fall into foreign hands with the inevitable further sharp falls in sterling when the leave of EU actually begins to take place.

Our car industry is largely foreign owned and the cream of our tech industry will become prime targets in currency devaluations.

With Chinese money buying up farmland in Australia and NZ, can we expect similar here ?

As we get our country back by one means do we lose it by another unintended means??

ARM was sold by profiteering useless UK management like every other good UK company.

ARM, although UK tech, was produced under license in Taiwan.

The leading tech in the WORLD which beat the Americans, Chinese, Japanese ... everybody ... hands down for decades ... but the greedy Elite couldn't and wouldn't use this wealth to help UK citizens ... despite UK tax payers funding the UK science community.

An absolute and utter disgrace !

We've heard about the loss of EU science funding ... yet when the bucks should come back the UK tax payer, guess what happens ? They produce it elsewhere !
