Good Quality Hot Water Pressure washer

Aye-up,

I've had a karcher machine for over 10 years and it's taught me every swear word ever invented, so I won't be having another one of those. It lasted until about 14 seconds out of warranty until it started to play up.

Any good recommendations? I would rather a British built machine where I can ring up and actually speak to somebody who knows what they're talking about rather than buy from a sales outlet.

Cheers, Pete.

Don't know about British built ones, but Kränzle is said to be the best. Kärcher professional (the grey one, not the supermarket cheapo consumer priced yellow ones) also good.

Brendon Powerwashers are great to deal with. Really good for spares, as they seem to know every machine that left the works by name.

We have a cold water diesel engined model, doing probably 12 hrs a week. Yamnar engine and cat pump get very little attention, and just go on and on. The frame is very sturdy and well put together. Very good quality paint. I think they do a hot water add-on module for it.

Only issue is, the vibration has killed numerous starter batteries, so we've resorted to pull starting for the past, oooh, twelfty years. Not for the weak of limb.

Oh and changing the engine oil is a complete PITA. Just has not been thought through at all.

Oh and it's an absolute pig to drag around. I mean, fair enough it is heavy, but the axle position and handle geometry really don't help.

Thinking about it, it's one of those machines that just needs another run around the drawing board... Will probably buy another when it goes pop. 🤷‍♂️

Same here. Had it a good few years now. Damn good machine and gets plenty of use here!
Well if it’s good enough for you, I’m glad I’ve got one, just had mine for 2 months, uses less fuel that the old Kew, cannot fault it!

The long suffering Janet was very pleasant. Anybody else, decidedly not.
Now then... this has got nothing to do with pressure washers ... last year you had problems with your daughter's pet ewe after lambing
Did ewe recover ?
Do you still have ewe?
The guy I work part time for has engine driven pressure washer which is ok but not good
