I've got to mention Keith Morgan Mowers of Usk for taking a halfshaft off a Kubota RTV for me yesterday afternoon as they didn't have a new one on the shelf. I picked it up early this morning and it's fitted, up and running again.
Also to Carwyn Roderick and his team from Beacon Plant for making new hydraulic pipes for me 2 Sundays in a row when I was up Sh!te Creek.
John Pearce Transport from Glynneath for real Valleys friendly service.

On the other hand, My Hermes for sh!te service and losing a chainsaw which their courier picked up but never delivered it to the depot. They were absolutely crap at sorting it.

It surprisses me that people need to be congratulated for good service .provided a good service or give up
Thank you farmers for the Turkey and all the trimmings that go with it that will make my Christmas day special. Most of you I expect will have to work part of that day while we are celebrating. Unsung heroes the lot of you

Just a bit of "praise where praise is due" ;) Doesn't harm, does it?

We've made hydraulic pipes for a couple of machines today .
I think it works both ways. If a customer is willing to lay his trust in my business by purchasing a tractor or machine off us then where open if he needs his machine to feed livestock etc.
Trying to get to the workshop without my wife noticing is the difficult part;)

Collins Nets are good for game rearing sort of stuff. Nets, sheeting, feeders etc. Excellent service all the time. Let down by DPD this Xmas but not their fault. Always use them now as first port of call.

It’s a ‘just in case’ box mostly. JCB use those type of connections, so any repairs or mods need those connections ideally, and I’ve not got any.
I will have to do some wiring on a new loadall soon, which I do on each one, and I’ve never had the right connections, so I end up improvising!....not any more;)
It’s a good connector system. Properly waterproof and you can repin them in seconds with nothing more than a flat blade screwdriver.

I’m usually a local supplier kind of chap, but I find boot shopping a pain in the arse. Never have my size, leaky wellies, poor quality, crappy boot soles that crack, I’ve had it all over the years.

Three years ago I bought two pairs of leather safety boots from Englebert Strauss. One waterproof, one not.

One pair fitted perfect, the other pinched a bit, returned and replaced in three days.

Both pairs have done three seasons, both have walked 1000’s of acres, been smothered in boot rotting fertiliser, been dried to crinkly crisps by lime as well as the usual farm rigours.

I bought them in 2015 and have just ordered another pair of each, being delivered on Thursday. The price has hardly changed in that time.

I’ve placed several orders in the last three years, always good quality and customer service is great. Some of their gear is a bit flash but you can always get more sensible stuff too. It’s hard wearing and comfortable so I would recommend them to anyone.
