Covid is serious.... it's doing a lot of harm BUT. The British are usually very good at making light of dark situations we find ourselves in.

I am enjoying the lack of media time the moronic, two faced, bunny hugger, climate change veganists are getting at the minute.
perhaps looking after number one has suddenly got higher up their agenda?

Happened to be in the house for a very late breakfast this morning and THIS MORNING was on, they had an interview with some female from PETA who said that they have started a petition which has already got 100s of 1000s of signatures for the Goverments around the world to curb the eating and exploiting of animals as it was this that had caused CV-19 in the first place. Hasn't taken them long to regroup and restructure.

But to reply to your original post I think the working environment in the countryside has improved, roads deserted so can get pulled out of gateways pretty much immediately, no salesmen calling in to annoy you, no Department/Red Tractor/LMC/BordBia officals to ruin your day.
Found there's a few fearless young uns thinking they can get away with giving it a bit more welly on the country roads and borrowing more road on low vis corners than is healthy for them. .

wish my road was deserted, its like a pilgrimage from dawn till dusk of walkers up and down. getting a bit pee'd off with trying to get a tractor past them all now

Me too, but I've seen more speed camera vans in the past couple of weeks than in the past few months. I guess with fewer cars about, police budgets will have a shortfall from speeding fines.
