Sorry I edited my post as you where typing. Yes we are at cross purposes i think, I don't know the people you refer to under order judicial.
The other person is my son in law who has haylage stacked on his property, between his building and the road. The people in the village there and the maire have no problem with him. In fact he and his family are welcomed to the village for apero's and food regularly until last autumn and covid restrictions. They tell him that they are happier now that the previous french farmer has gone as it was a "neglected rat infested sh!thole" and he was a lazy b*stard, their words not mine. It's also no secret that they are selling up and moving on. Not easy in the current climate. Locally there are at least 5 farms for sale within our commune. Owning a farm here is almost a liability at the moment!
Yes he's certainly better than the last guy. But it didn't stop a tractor being backed out blind onto the road nearly wiping us out or the mud from there all around to where the cows were being fed. So a bit rich telling me I need wellies. My wettest field under the buildings has a sluice gate, it was a lake, where the monks reared their carp, unfortunately it's next to the road!

Fastest turn around I know of.
A farm near here was for sale for some three years (aren’t they all), a welsh guy bought it, his wife had never seen it, so he moves in, in mid November and one of those bad November’s at that, complete with young polish wife (i believe from a city) and couple of month old baby. Well, she was gone before Christmas 🥴, he was gone by Easter then Back and forth for a year or so while it sold again - he was lucky and it sold in around a year this time. A lovely German guy there now👍.
Everyone needs to be onboard before the start of the move to have any chance of success.

No, highlands and some British white things...
“White parks”?
Interestingly, a couple not for from there (don’t know where exactly) installed last year with a herd of black Galloway’s. They came here to look at a bull i had for sale at the time.

How long before people in Nigeria begin getting emails from their English Great Uncle who was a Prince, who has died and left them £25 million and for a small up front bank transfer the inheritance can be sent to Africa, Lawmaker Cate Waruguru, who is vice-chair of Kenya’s influential agriculture commission, told Nairobi newspaper Daily Nation yesterday that “the mood of the house is very hostile, we don’t trust the UK.”

I shouldn't laugh but are any UK trade agreements going to get ratified? Any of them?

Crikey!
Wales's First Minister has said the United Kingdom as we know it 'is over' and demanded a radical overhaul based on a 'voluntary association of four nations'.

Mark Drakeford was accused of 'giving up on the Union' after advocating a more federal arrangement akin to the United States, or even as loose as the EU.🤣
