We put goodyear on over bkt as the salesman said was a better tyre. Same price for both. But only in October so time will tell. Won't be hard to be better than the firestones that came off.

You're not buying tyres, you're getting married to the tyres. If you change your mind after the deal lis done like marriage it gets very expensive. You have to live with them to death do us part, tyres you get what you pay for

Needing a new set of boots for my jcb 310. What are those, very tempted to go the semi industrial route, eg bix load Michelin

That's because they're tall and wide for their size.
I’ve got a 12 year old tractor on Goodyear 650’s and a 3 year old tractor on Michelin 650’s.
Park them side by side and you’d swear they were on different sizes, the Goodyear’s looking much wider.
I put the tape on them and that says 2 inches difference although it actually looks like more

Michelin are very poor for tyre size, tread width are usually about 50mm + narrower than other makes of the same size. I would never think about having a tractor fitted with them. A mate has them on his last new tractor, he said " never again ",

had two identical tractors in the same feild muckspreading one with goodyear optitracs and one with michelin multibibs the goodyears could get up the hill in 2wd the michelins couldnt get up the hill at all. Although the michelins did last a little bit longer.
