whole new avenue of botches on botch thread or glueing things up with steevo threadThanks guys! I return to this thread after 101 quotes and mentions thinking it's super popular an expecting some useful advice and top tips....
I ask because I saw an advert on TV last night for it and it said it sticks wood to stone to glass to plastic etc.
I've got a plastic "cover" with recessed three bolt holes in but the recessed hole is now bigger so the shoulder of the bolt won't hold it and it goes straight through.
First thought - buy another cover
Second thought - could use a washer and non recessed bolt, but would look untidy
Saw advert and thought if it's really strong enough, I could glue a washer to the back of the panel, thus bolting the washer, which is then glued to the cover.
Will this botch hold...and be the first of many Gorilla Glue masterpieces....or will I end up having to buy a new cover anyway so may as well not waste time botching now?
Can you fit a nut sert / rivet nut to it???Thanks guys! I return to this thread after 101 quotes and mentions thinking it's super popular an expecting some useful advice and top tips....
